Your Data, Your Choice
You have the right to request deletion of all your personal data from CoatingOS at any time. We process all deletion requests within 30 days.
How to Request Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your data through any of the following methods:
Email Request
Send an email to hello@coatingos.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include your account email address and company name so we can locate your data.
In-App Settings
Log into CoatingOS, navigate to Settings → Company, and use the account deletion option to initiate a self-service data removal.
What Gets Deleted
When you request data deletion, we remove:
- Account Information: Your name, email, phone number, and login credentials
- Customer Data: All customer records, contacts, and communication history you've stored
- Business Data: Estimates, invoices, work orders, and scheduling data
- Messages: SMS, email, and social media message history
- Integration Data: Connected Facebook/Instagram tokens, page data, and lead ad records
- Files & Media: Uploaded photos, documents, and attachments
Facebook & Instagram Data
If you connected your Facebook Page or Instagram account to CoatingOS, requesting data deletion will also remove:
- Facebook Page access tokens and page connection data
- Facebook Lead Ad submissions imported into CoatingOS
- Facebook Messenger and Instagram DM conversation history stored in CoatingOS
- Customer profiles created from Facebook/Instagram interactions
You can also disconnect Facebook/Instagram at any time from Settings → Integrations without deleting your entire account.
Processing Timeline
Within 48 hours
We acknowledge your request and begin processing
Within 30 days
All personal data is permanently deleted from our systems
Confirmation
You'll receive email confirmation once deletion is complete
Exceptions
Certain data may be retained as required by law, including:
- Transaction records required for tax/accounting compliance
- Data necessary to resolve disputes or enforce agreements
- Anonymized, aggregated analytics data that cannot identify you
